Nice and comfortable place, I’d stay again. Hotel was quiet and parking was easy. The walls are a little thin - luckily this didn’t bother me at night since I had quiet neighbors. Hot tub is a little old, and I wish there had been extra coffee pods since it wasn’t a traditional coffee maker - everything was good overall and the unit was very clean.

The room did not disappoint. View was beautiful & the jaccuzi on the balcony was amazing to just sit in and take in the view at night. The room had everything you could need in the kitchen & bathroom. Plently of restaurants just steps from your door

The hot tub on the balcony was one of our favorite parts of this room! The fireplace, spaciousness, and fully stocked kitchen, were all part of what made our stay so enjoyable. The only downside of the room was the noise outside that started around 7am. Not sure what it was, but it is near a mall so it may have been trucks loading or unloading nearby.

Booked for the private balcony with hot tub and it was amazing! Pleasantly surprised by all the other features, fireplace in room, full size fridge, washer and dryer, plus a wonderful bathroom: double sink, glass shower & huge double soak bathtub. Wish we had more time to enjoy it all. TV was the only downside, too small, esp if you want to watch from the bed. BUT with all the other amenities we made better use of our time.

The suite was bigger than expected and was clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the nice bathroom tub and hot tub on the balcony. The view from the 4th floor was beautiful, as it faced the mountains. The king size bed was pretty comfortable. My feedback is the AC didn’t work very well and we wish there were fans available. Also, the TV is quite small and they don’t have any outlets to plug your phone in by the bed, the nearest was the kitchen area. The hotel didn’t offer any continental breakfast options, so went to places nearby for coffee and food (Cupla Coffee).

We enjoyed 3 nights in a 1 bedroom condo. Was fairly clean, few items missed by a broom or vacuum. Perfect amount of linens provided for our stay. Kitchen was clean and tidy. Had all the basics we needed. We enjoyed making a few meals in the kitchen. Full size fridge with ice maker. Furniture may be a little outdated and well used. But worked out just fine. Four person hot tub was perfect for the two of us. Was well kept and clean. Front desk was very kind and informative. Very welcoming. We did not use any other hotel amenities. But a quick peek at the pool it seemed decent. It was both inside/outside pool. Paid covered parking was nice.

Disappointing

I will start by saying that I think most of my complaints stem from the fact that we stayed in a privately-owned unit which is managed by a third party and NOT managed by Newpark. We’ve stayed here before and that time we booked directly with Newpark and had a much better experience. But THIS room had issues. The fireplace was broken, the hot tub had a ring of dirt around the water line and sand in the bottom, there was no curtain covering the right side of the windows, and the curtain rod was hanging off. Otherwise, we love this property and the hot tub balcony is epic. This particular unit was disappointing.

We have stayed at the Newpark before (not booked through a third party) and had a great experience. This time, I wasn’t aware it was through a 3rd party and that the hotel would have no connection to our stay. We had no cable, were unable to connect to any of our TV apps and only had live Roku Tv. The WiFi was unreliable- I was unable to work or upload videos from a sports camera on the network. There was a huge black hairball in the shower and lots of dirty spots on the counter. We really like the Newpark resort and will stay again but will book directly through the hotel to ensure we have housekeeping and cable.

Good stay, but room to improve.

There are some maintenance and wear and tear problems. The smoke detector kept beeping every minute or two. The front desk was very kind and said even though I had booked through a third party and not directly with them they would contact them to let them know the battery needed to be changed. A couple hours later someone came with batteries. However, he didn’t bring a ladder or anything. After trying to balance on the hallway wall and the top of the wheeling kitchen chair he managed to change the battery and left, Quite the spectacle. Unfortunately, it was not a problem with the battery but a problem With the device itself as it was from September 2007 and they are supposed to be replaced every 10 years or sooner. Instead of waiting again for maintenance to come again we informed the front desk of the issue and climbed up ourselves to take down the beeping detector. Kitchen furniture is worn and wobbly- possibly due to being repeatedly used as a ladder. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the weekend concert series. This resort is located very conveniently to several food options and shopping as well.

Not what I expected

Pros - Prime location. Close to restaurants, activities, shopping. - Pool was nice, indoor/outdoor. My favorite hotel pool by far. - The room and site was clean. -Bathroom was spacious and nice. - Friendly staff. Cons - Not owned by the hotel. Making requests challenging. - My room had no blankets or pillows for pullout bed. - Pillows/blankets low quality. Pillows overly firm, sheets/pillowcases rough, and blankets were scratchy. - TV did not work. - Pullout bed was awful. Mattress was thin, frame net was broken. Frame creaked so loud we could barely sleep. Ended up putting the mattress on the floor. - Thin walls, adjoining rooms. You can hear everything. - No upgrade options available, no replies. - No housekeeping provided. Had to take out our own trash. - Room was tiny. Pictures online imply more space but you can barely walk around beds. - Fire alarm hanging by wires on the ceiling. Overall, I would not book this hotel again. I would rather book through a chain hotel vs. this split ownership rental deal.
