All staff are very friendly, approachable, polite and their kindness and professionalism should be commended. Our room #210, second floor is outstanding and the ocean view is absolutely amazing. My husband enjoyed their clean swimming pool as well. Location is few minutes from downtown and the Alana Beach. Just take Tok tok for 150 pesos, so cheap. We’ve enjoyed all the tours, Bohol is a beautiful place to visit.

Pros: Friendly staff. Decent breakfast. Unobstructed ocean view. Cons: The ocean does not look as good as Alona beach, which itself is not very impressive. The hotel is very noisy when the planes depart/land. The noise continues until 2 am in the morning. Check the google map and you’ll see the hotel is lined up perfectly with the airport runway, causing this noise.

The view out to sea was good. At 6am every morning the tourist boats would start thier noisy diesel engines. Pool is very good and clean. Breakfast was excellent. The shore either side of the hotel was very dirty with litter.

Sweet Home is an ideal place in Tag. Great location, nicely decorated, clean, comfortable room and very helpful staff. It's close to shops and mall. Breakfast was good and the Mang Inasal next door was convenient. Highly recommended.

The staff were fantastic. The services the hotel offered were good, including airport transfers, tuk tuk for local travel, laundry service and really nice food. I wish I had checked my final bill from the hotel, as several food items appeared on it that we definitely didn’t order. Although not a big deal it did amount to over 1500 php. Maybe each time a guest uses any facilities, the staff could get them to sign the bill each time, this would minimise errors. But overall a great place to stay.

The views were amazing from my room. However the toilet had a leak and the floor was always wet. The breakfast included was minimal and add on were expensive. But the staff was fantastic. Its a 4 dollar tooc tooc ride to Alona beach area. But there was this street food place a couple block walk that was phenomenal for 7 bucks!

Good stay for a good price with a nice pool

Nice place with a nice pool in front facing the ocean. The pool was clean, whole and in good condition, an important note since many hotel pools in the Philippines seem to be in bad condition. The room was clean, spacious (room 103, bottom floor), with functioning AC. WiFi was a bit choppy but closer to the entrance it worked ok. One small negative about the room downstairs is that you have to cover up with curtains, to avoid everyone from seeing inside. Not a big problem though :) Staff were as usual very nice and friendly. The hotel hasn’t got a bar, so you order from the reception. The view is very nice. It is a short Tuktuk ride from alona beach, but not a problem since there are plenty of rides for 100 pesos. Close by is the hostel Mad Monkey, which seems to be the best place to go if you want nightlife. The place had energy and party mode. So, in general: we had a good stay for a good price!

The beach area is not great, it would have been nice if the area is cleaned/maintained on a daily basis. Front desk service is good, but dining service is not (only one person, and sometimes you have to wait awhile to see somebody) I understand it's a small place. Breakfast was good, mango juice in a can terrible, I'd rather have fresh calamansi juice juice or fresh buko. When you're in an island and fresh fruits are in abundance using juice in cans or powder form is terrible. I am from Dauis, I just need some rest before going home from a long flight, I love how quiet the location was.

Everything is broken. The faucet, the toilet, the washroom reeks! The room is extremely small. It was a complete dosappointment. When you are showering water stops midway and you have to come down to ask them to give you some water. The toilet does flush. The food is disgusting. I ordered nachos, calamares and pizza. It arrived cold the nachos were stale. It made our stay absolutely horrendous! We actually only slept there for the night and left. We are not coming back. But I gotta say the staff is nice but with what you pay aint worth it. It absolutely made us not want to go back in Bohol.

Solo scuba diving in Bohol

It was in the quiet side of the beach but still close enough to walk to. The food tasted home-cooked and delicious. The service was friendly and very helpful. They found me my own private tuktuk driver to take me around as I was traveling solo. The hotel was clean and I had a good stay.

It is unfortunate that I have to write this and it does not bring me joy to do so. We ended up leaving a night early to cut our losses because of the unpleasantness of our stay. TL;DR Inhospitable, unclean, and overdue for a renovation. This place is run down and overdue for an audit. Main issues: 1. Cleanliness - bathroom full of mildew, easy bleach cleaning could have solved this. Plastic signage covered in mildew needs replacing. 2. Damaged furnishing - broken cupboards, ceramic wear, faucet, shower. 3. Inhospitable restaurant - after a long travel day we had hoped to dine at the restaurant. They offered, with attitude, to make us pizza.. instead of offering a full menu. After we declined they suggested we use GRAB to order food. We had issues since we had to download the app and add our cards for the first time. Problem on GRAB end, resolved with tech support. But we had to go into town to get dinner. 4. Dirty linens - sheets had stains, upstairs tablecloths had holes, rust spots on silverware, bleach stains on ALL towels provided to us. Things that should have been replaced seem to be in rotation and left a sour taste in our mouth about the rest of the housekeeping. 5. Toilet seat in room 210 was cracked- safety issue! It was also growing brown bacteria from the cracks indicating long term neglect. 6. Missing remote - only one AC remote for two units. 7. Malfunctioning safe - forcing us to carry all valuables Front desk ladies were apologetic. Look elsewhere
