"I stayed one night at the Tudor Court primarily for its close proximity to Paddington Station. The location was very convenient and the street is pretty with a little park that runs the entire length of the block. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby, and a few lovely blocks' walk to Kensington Gardens. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. I liked that someone was there at all times. My room was up 4 flights of somewhat narrow stairs but the front desk staff are happy to carry any luggage up/down if needed. The room was very clean and modern but I will say it is the smallest room I have ever stayed in, and I'm not someone who needs much space. There was not enough floor space to place a small open suitcase. There was a luggage rack which I used but it prevented the room door from fully opening. I definitely would not want to share a room that size with another person, as I used half of the bed for my laptop and a few other items. It was uncomfortably small for me, even for a very short stay, but the hotel has truly done everything possible to make the most of the space available in both the room and the bathroom. I did get a little warm and tried to turn on the air conditioner/fan but no luck - I read in another review that it costs extra(?) but I didn't inquire. In summary, if you don't mind a very small room, it's a great spot for a couple of nights."

"Property was not at all as expected and is not properly reflected in the photos on Expedia. The hotel is not well maintained. The bathroom smelled of sewer and the hotel stairs were old and unsafe. We were not provided with the accommodation that we booked. We promptly left after checking in and canceled our next night. I requested a refund from the hotel and Expedia May 23rd and have received no credit or follow up."

"I was upgraded to a loft room, but I would have preferred a standard double room. The staircase in the room was quite steep and you needed to watch your step carefully. Breakfast was ok, but I would have preferred a coffee machine rather than a small coffee pot for my table. But for the price, this hotel is outstanding value for this location in London."

"I booked a single room and while the room was small (as described in the room info), it was very comfortable, clean, and the layout of the small room was good. The front desk staff were so wonderful and helpful in answering my questions and getting me additional complimentary bottled water every day of my stay. The bottled water was such a huge bonus to me! Thanks. There was construction going on with the street in front of the hotel, but it was only during the day for a few hours on my first day there. (I stayed Thursday-Sunday at the beginning of May.) I had an early morning flight so I booked the night prior and was able to check-in the morning I landed without a problem. I did call and confirm the 'late' check-in with them a few days prior. I know some hotels have early check-in possibilities with a fee, but I wanted to make sure I had a room as soon as I landed. It was well worth it to me for a red-eye flight. The location was an easy walk with luggage to the Paddington Station. Great restaurants nearby. I'm very happy with the experience."

"Lovely low-key hotel in a pretty, quiet neighborhood near Paddington train station and Kensington Garden. Comfortable beds and super-nice staff. Single room we booked was postage-stamp small, not unusual in London, so we upgraded to junior suite which was roomier. FYI gym was under construction and bar was just drinks served in breakfast room, though that didnt bother us. Good vale for London overall."
