Pacific Coast hotel rooms a the Mision

"Food was awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pools were great for adults as well as kids. Suggest more pool lounge chairs or some policy to prevent people from “reserving “ chairs extremely early in the morning. Have been to other hotels where it hasn’t been a problem, maybe it’s a people problem. The activities on the beach side are fun, banana boat, parasailing, boogie boards. I did reserve 2 connecting rooms with 2 double beds for 3 adults and 3 kids but on arrival was told my reservation was for 2 rooms with king bed and pullout in each. They were full for Spring break so they weren’t able to change the rooms but the two we had were next to each other. Would stay here again."

"The Riu Palace is well designed, well appointed and I appreciated the attention to detail i.e. washrooms (WC’s) were kept clean. The room was comfortable and service was efficient. Reception was friendly and fast. My only knock on staff was not the people (to a person, they were great), but more so the need for more pool-side servers; 3-4 more during the day would have made for less (necessary) trips to the bar. The beach is well located, allowing for a large number of chairs for those who prefer the sand and those that prefer pool-side."
