"This is a big fancy hotel. We have stayed here before. Itโs well-maintained and the staff seem friendly. But there are details that made this a less than excellent stay. Our room was literally blocks away from the front entrance - our GPS got confused when we were planning outtingsโ so if youโre not looking to get extra steps make sure to ask for a closer one when you check in. The bathroom was well appointed but the shower leaked and the sink was very slow to drain. There was an Nespresso machine in the room, but most of the coffee we were given was decaf. When we tried to order coffee to go downstairs they didnโt have any paper cups. So it was good - but not excellent."

"Regular annual visitors to this hotel so knew what to expect. Room was large and clean. Staff we came across were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast room was very well stocked there was a really wide choice from the buffet. River walk of about 15 mins into the city. Very quiet at night on this occasion. Onsite car parking is ยฃ25 per day. Check in agent did not ask for payment and when i asked i was told it was included which surprised me as it never used to be. I went back later and challenged them on this again and surprise another check showed it wasn't so an apology was given and ยฃ50 was taken. Failure to pay would mean a ยฃ100 fine later on so beware of this. Couldn't get a stable picture on any tv channel which was a little frustrating but then we weren't there to watch tv."
