"A truly delightful hotel in a convenient location with excellent staff and facilities. Impossible to fault overall - 2 tips… dont park under the trees in front of the building. I dont know what the birds eat, but they eat A LOT of it. Then theres steps….pack light, you’ll be hauling your luggage up a LOT of steps :-) - its a 13th century manor house, lifts werent a “thing” !"

"Very noisy because of the pub below so until 23:00 loud then from 05:00 in the morning music starts again and people singing so if you want to party I guess it’s the right place but if you want to rest get yourself a proper hotel room, me personally I wouldn’t go back "

Everything was laid on and Helen was superb in anticipating everthing I needed. And the breakfast - well - no words to describe how great it was. "Staff were very good, facilities in the room were good - the environment lovely with the WsterMill and the stream - good bed - good black out curtains - welcome water / enough tea for morning and evening - breakfast plentiful - but to tinned fruit - rather than fresh - not very inviting croissants - did not have cooked breakfast - we would stay again - pleasant modern design - welcoming staff!!!"
