"Room way out of dated, dirty, parking sucked. Nobody there when we checked in. Shower was nasty. Room smelled. Tiny and too expensive for that price."

"Our 2nd floor room was beachfront. The Nags Head Outlet was within walking distance as well as a huge "beach" store. The Sea Foam is an older historical motel that was recently sold. Yes, it is in need of repair and updating, however, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and decent water pressure. It fit our needs. Word is that the new owners have big plans."

"Our room had pretty textured walls and beautiful artwork. The furnishings were also high quality. Its a 3 minute walk to the beach, and within a few minutes drive of a mini-mart, ice cream place, and some restaurants. I couldn't figure out when checkout time was, but another guest told me 11am. Also the doors have # codes on them so you can check in without seeing anyone. But the insides of the doors don't have slide locks, so we were worried about someone being able to enter if they found out the code."

"Great room and great location!! So close to what we came for. The gal that checked me in could have been friendlier and more helpful. But this was minor. I thought it odd that our room didn't have tissues or a hair dryer."

"I liked that everything was clean and taken care of. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Full breakfast was good. Several options to choose from and they served you. Will definitely stay there again!"

"The price we paid was affordable for a vacation in the OBX. With that said hospitality, cleanliness and sanitary conditions should never be compromised. The room had sheets that were stained and had a bad odor. Water bugs and roaches came in at times. No housekeeping ever came during our 4 night stay. We drove 8 hours to get there so I didn't let sheets or unwanted visitors ruin my vacation. If I ever come to the beautiful OBX again I won't stay here I'll save up more money and go somewhere else. But if you can't afford a fancy hotel but still enjoy everything else OBX has to offer then bring your own sheets and a can of bug spray. Location is the only thing this place has to offer."
