![Lots of birds diving and soaring around the preserve, but most did not come close enough [or stay still enough] for the Fuji to do its work. Fortunately, this Turkey Vulture accommodated me with a fly-by. He was probably no more than eight feet from my face.
Seriously, though, the place is a massive aviary. With all that abundant marine life bubbling about under the surface, the area can support as many of these creatures as are able to tolerate living together.
