I enjoyed my stay at Motel 6 Costa Mesa. Víctor at the front desk was friendly as I checked in. I didn’t have any issues while I was there. The room I stayed in smelled like smoke somewhat, so that was a bummer, but it wasn’t horrible. The room was clean, especially the bed and shower which I was very grateful for. There is not much as far as amenities go, but you get what you pay for. Overall it was a good stay.

Staff and overall cleanliness top notch...for a Motel 6 - and I mean that with all due respect. They were very respectful, professional and courteous, for any hotel. Only problem IMHO was the floors weren't clean to match everything else.

Rooms were dirty we found a dead cockroach room did smell like dog diffently gross the Ac didn’t work at all in the room they taped floor down with duct tape we deal with 3 different staff when we stayed the guy that check us in was super nice and the manager as well we did deal with another guy in offices was very rude to every single person that went into office he seems pretty unhappy with his job differently wont recommend anyone to stay their not worth the money or last min headache

I checked out immediately. There was not one section of grass or dirt that was piled high eith years of dog feces. The rooms are supposed to be non smoking but mine smelled if someone had been chain smoking in there moments before I walked in. Roaches everywhere. All of this luxury for $129 a night because it was a Friday.. Front desk guy was beyond rude.. Try the Motel 6 in Fountain its clean and well taken care of.

Liked the renovated room. Felt clean and comfortable and convenient location to where I work. Lights and plugs and usb port next to the headboard did not work but the lighting in the rest of the room was more than sufficient so it didn’t bother me that much Bathroom was lovely. Would stay again.
