"Room was very clean. Grew up in Ventura and this place used to be a homeless dump! They have done a great job cleaning it up! Still a few weirdos staying long term but they stay to themselves. Would stay again."

"When we first arrived there was coffee pods in the room but no coffee pot so we had to ask for that and was told she had to hunt one down. Beds were extremely uncomfortable almost felt like air mattresses. The only plus of staying here was how close it was to the beach. "

"This was easily the worst room I have ever stayed in, and I have traveled all over the USA and have visited 67 countries. It smelled terrible, many items were broken and the bathroom had rust on the fixtures. There was no mirror in the bathroom and the medicine cabinet had a back panel and one side piece (the rest was missing). The only lock on the entry room door was a button on the knob (there had been a chain at one time but it was missing the parts needed to lock it in place). To top it off, there was no hot water. I let the shower and sink run for 15 minutes and the water was still cold. This place should not be available on Hotels.com. It was an absolute dump. I wish I could get my money back."
