"We stayed for a night and it was great. The property is huge. We had dinner at Old Homestead steakhouse and it was fab. The breakfast buffet spread was decent. Note: this property is 10 mins drive away from the boardwalk. Would be back again !!"

"All good, except this week’s check-in wasn’t nearly as welcoming as last week when I had the most wonderful, personable, experienced person check me in. It made a fantastic first impression. However, when I checked in yesterday, the associates all had coats on, didn’t smile, and didn’t seem happy to be there. The jacket thing was weird. Please make it a little warmer in there so associates don’t have coats on. Also, please have your associates smile and appear happy and excited that we are there. Great hotels that know hospitality understand that an upbeat, pleasant first impression goes a very long way toward guest satisfaction."

"Never had an issue from checking in to check out. Always were willing to supply my family with extra towels and sheets. The property outside the room, I was on ground floor with pool, was always kept clean from sand, trash, and whatever else. Very close to the beach, walked back-and-forth multiple times during the day on our week long stay. The AC in the room was perfect and cold to the point you needed blankets, which I love. We had the kitchenette with the full fridge, which worked out in our favor. Definitely plan to stay here again next year."
La Mer Beachfront Resort

"We found the room very convenient, comfortable and to our liking. The pool was great and the service at the beach was well-managed, easy and friendly. We used the laundry service to our satisfaction although it was a little challenging to figure out. My only disappointment, and this will not apply to most people, is that there was amplified live music during dinner time, from 6 to 9 every evening, and we would have liked to eat and hang out on our balcony facing the pool. Unfortunately the music was quite loud, and impossible to ignore. Because of it we had to stay indoors or go out during those hours. I realize I am difficult on this matter, because most people like pop music or can tune it out, As a professional musician that is not the case for me. Other than that we had a fabulous time in Cape May and at La Mer, truly a class act. The weather cooperated and the beach was wonderful. I will definitely stay again at La Mer."
