"This hotel is apparently a heritage sight. Its an imposing building. The rooms are clean and well kept, but a little faded. The position is superb, 50 yards from the tram stop to get to most places in Sydney, and 100 yards from the central train station to get to places like Bondi Beach. The staff are friendly and helpful, even when I checked in at 11.30 at night. The breakfast, full English with fruit yoghurt coffee tea toast juice all included and as much as you want, foe 18 ASD about £9.50, a bargain, there was also a lighter version available. The bar also ran lunch and dinner good quality at reasonable prices. This hotel is very reasonable and I would go again."

"Wanted my mobile number, when I said it was for marketing so no thank you. Reception denied that it was for marketing and said it was to call me when my room would be ready, so I gave them the number....no call to say my room was ready, but now they have my phone number. Bar was closed by 10:30am so unable to get a drink - and was informed to go round to the restaurant where they can serve me. So I walk round to the restaurant, which was only separated from the bar by a wall, to be told that they were also closed. Frustrating to be on both occasions to be mis-communicated to. This mis-communication happened on two more times, and each time the member of staff actually shared the inaccurate information. ... luckily a more senior person was behind and corrected the mistakes. So overall unable to trust what people were telling us."

"A great place to stay - it’s personal, staff are amazing, breakfast is yummy too. It’s an all round lovely hotel based on the edge of Hyde Park with multiple choices of eating out and easy access to public transport 😊😊"
