"The villa, the food, the professional staff, and the properties beautiful gardens, facilities and grounds were excellent. The breakfast was excellent and memorable. Though a shuttles and rides to island sites could be arranged, we only used a driver once and the driver was thoughtful, safe and informative. We rented a car for the week and experienced moped mania on the many small roadways…without incident or accident safely; however, if you never driven on the left side of the roadway or not use to bumper to bumper traffic during rush hours 8am-6pm then renting a moped if you plan on visiting a lot of places to include eating out in restaurants highly rated. We navigated through everything well so no issues or complaints."

Ramayana Candidasa is a quiet and restful haven on beautifully kept tropical surrounds. The restaurant has everything you need with enough choice for your food requirements, or you can get pickup organised from several of the restaurants in town. Candi Dasa in an area of Bali that is still removed from much of the western commercialisation overtaking the south and west so if you are looking for shopping malls and brand name knock offs, and western style coffee shops, pizza and hamburgers then this is not your destination and the reason we still love Candi Dasa. "We stayed in the 2-bedroom Presidential Villa. The Villa did not disappoint. The staff was the best. They went way beyond what was expected to make sure we had everything that we needed and more. They were genuinely happy that we were there and it showed. They treated us like family and royalty (all of them). The food was delicious. On site chef did a marvelous job! "Very nice, clean resort in a quiet area, still easy walk to a choice of restaurants and shops. Unique pool area with deck chairs on sand around the pool with ocean views. Good buffet breakfast in dining area. Only small faults is hot water pressure in showers and beach in front of resort not ideal for swimming due to shallow water and currents. Otherwise perfect stay!!"

"We only stayed one night but, the staff were very kind and hospitable. Our room was lovely and very spacious. It is a beautiful resort, the spa treatments and yoga made us feel very relaxed, the breakfast was delicious. it is in a remote location so the road to the hotel is quite an adventure!"

Great service good value, staff are very attentive with the buggies to get up the hill- we had 2 x 70 year olds with us on a 3 generation holiday. Great location to walk into town or the other way to Lago beach to swim out to the pontoon or go to the swanky spa next door.
