"The rooms are very clean and spacious. You gotta love nature to love staying here, because there are many sounds of nature, from insects to geckos, inside or close to your room. The only downside is there are possible mold/moisture issue that is causing some discomfort to my wife, but it is probably expected as the washroom/bedrooms are not totally closed off to outdoors. The staff is the friendliest and most considerate I've experienced. Overall a beautiful and wonderful stay"

"The facility is a bit old but the room is clean and neat. My room was a bit far from the reception and needed to walk down and up the stairs, but it was also a pleasure of the trip. Staff was very kind and helpful. They offered prompt services such as transport arrangement and breakfast etc. Thank you so much! "

"Our stay at Junjungan Ubud Hotel & Spa was nothing short of magical. Tucked away amid lush greenery and overlooking serene rice fields, this beautiful boutique property offers the perfect blend of nature, comfort, and authentic Balinese hospitality.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with the warmest smiles and heartfelt care. The staff truly make this place special — attentive, kind, and always eager to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel more like family than guests.
The rooms are spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with private balconies opening up to breathtaking views of the surrounding jungle and rice terraces. Waking up to birdsong and misty mornings here is an experience in itself. The peaceful atmosphere makes it an ideal escape from the busy streets of Ubud, yet the town center is conveniently accessible.
The spa services were absolutely rejuvenating — a perfect way to unwind after exploring Bali. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and beautifully presented, with both local and international options.
What truly sets Junjungan apart is the sense of tranquility and genuine care they offer. Every detail, from the landscaping to the service, reflects love and dedication.
If you're looking for a soul-soothing retreat in Ubud that feels intimate, authentic, and deeply relaxing, Junjungan Hotel & Spa is a gem you should not miss.
We left with peaceful hearts and unforgettable memories — and we already can’t wait to retur"
"The room was spotless, staff were so happy and helpful. The only thing was the road works were a pain to get in and out of the resort! I felt the free shuttle bus should have taken us further in town as it was a 20min walk it the humid heat. Or this should have been communicated before arrival. "
"The property itself is amazing , note the wellness, gym and suana are all separately paid for and not included in the nightly cost. When I arrived the room had a broken curtain rod and ac not working. Just did not feel homey compared to the other resorts for that price. Also the vibe in the place is filled with security personnel breathing down your neck. Doesn’t feel welcoming at all. I loved the suana and wellness part but hated staying at the premises itself. I had a couple of friends visit me to use the suana/welness one of them was Indonesian and she was definitely profiled by the security asked to leave an ID. "
