"As described, easy to check in and check out. Downtown district is so beautiful and clean. Room was clean and essentials provided. Staff were friendly."

"I will start off by saying the staff was nice enough and they had a free shuttle to run you down to the pier and restaurant area since this hotel is not in walking distance of those amenities. It is adjacent to the Rays stadium so it would be ideal for game days. Parking was $40 a night, pricey for the type of hotel, but the valet was extremely fast. I did not try the breakfast but there was a nice area with snacks and all day coffee. Things I found to be a problem were room cleanliness and the broken elevator. When we arrived there was a noticeably dirty towel hanging in the bathroom and the shower door was pretty dirty. The toilet flushed very weakly and the smell in the shower was off putting. It had a large drain and smelled off. One of the 2 elevators was broken so everyone in the entire hotel (including housekeeping) was waiting for 1 elevator and the wait was very long at times and sometimes full when it finally arrived. It sounded like it wasn’t an issue that was going to fixed in the near future."

"It was an interesting place to stay. The 20 year old me would have been more than ok. Cheap and close to all the areas in St Pete that I needed to have access to. However the adult in me would most likely not stay here again. It's a cute space with lots of potential in a safe area of St Pete. Just not the best kept space. The front desk lady had No sense of humor, the check in process was odd to say the least. The pool was clean but youre not allowed to use it after dark. The room was pretty clean, there was no upper lighting and just a tiny lamp on the night stand between the beds. The blinds had no control so they could not be lowered or raised. The bed was not too comfortable overall. "

"We booked this hotel based on the photos online, but upon arrival the property was not maintained the way it was represented. There were also several sketchy individuals hanging around the location, which immediately made us uncomfortable. When we arrived, the front door was locked and we had to call the hotel for someone to come unlock it so we could enter. During check in, I asked the employee whether anyone else was staying at the hotel, and she responded that the place was vacant before saying she was “just joking.” After paying for an unexpected parking pass, we went to the rear parking lot and noticed there was not a single car there, which made the comment feel less like a joke and added to our concerns. When we reached the rear entrance, we noticed the door was being secured after hours with a chain and padlock, which further contributed to us feeling unsafe and unsettled. Due to the overall condition of the property and the safety concerns we experienced, we chose not to stay there and instead booked another hotel down the street."

"The hotel definitely has a very old, historic feel, but not much has been updated, so it shows its age. Parking wasn’t the most convenient since you have to use a parking garage, which can be a bit of a hassle. On the plus side, the location is right in the middle of everything, which makes it great if you’re planning to go out and enjoy the nightlife. Overall, it’s a decent option if you just need a place to stay for the night while you’re out partying"
