This is a wonderful hotel in every way. Best staff- comfortable rooms - although the bathrooms are small, who cares when everything else is perfect. The location can’t be beat- we walked to the Pier and had dinner on the walk back. Lots of great places to eat and shop. Wonderful music and nightlife appropriate for families. Wish we had more time in St Petersburg!! We loved St Pete and the Avalon Hotel!

They upgraded to a suite. It was nice, though being old, even though remodeled, the bathroom layout put the toilet very close to the wall and towel rack. Perhaps that was only the case in the suite. Friendly, clean, helpful. Enjoyed the restaurant in their companion hotel next door.

The Avalon hotel was very nice, it's an old historic building with some great decor, very unuiqe. Staff was very freindly and very helpful. Hotel is conveinant to a lot of places in St Pet and they also have a shuttle that will drop you off and pick you up around town. We will be back to stay here for sure !
