"Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Fast service at reception and bar. Beautiful location. Gardens and large patio area. Both room and bathroom were large and airy. Just one down side our bedroom only had a tiny window which made it dark and no view - it obscured by concrete breeze blocks supporting the roof structure. All that being said, the location was perfect for work, access to river, golf courses and race course and I would recommend it and stay her again. There were large...

"Fabulous location for the city centre, however if you want somewhere quiet you’d be disappointed, we had the window open because of the heat but you can hear all the neighbouring bars and the clocks chime every 15 minutes. Thankfully the chimes do stop around 10pm until morning so doesn’t disturb sleep. Windows sufficiently block noise. The hotel is very basic as expected. Clean but not spotless. Comfortable enough beds but need some firmer pillows! "

"Nice place but had to wait 10mins as they tried to charge me again for my room after I paid on line 2 months ago. Got to the room that was utterly freezing with no heat. 3 attempts got it working to find near no water at shower and the tray all blocked with hair."

"The receptionist was lovely and welcoming. The room itself was very nice and the beds were very comfortable! The only 'complaint' would be the cleanliness of the bathroom whih was not good (mould on the vents etc.) Overall, the stay was very nice. "
