"Always a great stay in short pump area- love this staff & hotel guests are always treated A1 here. Whether Im solo or traveling with my pup - this is my go to hotel that never lets me down. Convenient rooms near exits when my pup is with me & never have to ask. Breakfast without the wait & clean rooms with hot shower/ bath to unwind - and always accommodating if I forget a toothbrush or shampoo- hairdryer is great for me since I have a lot of hair & never have to go to bed with it damp- Overall its friendly, clean and comfortable and the staff makes every stay feel like home away from home"

"We had an excellent stay. The Commonwealth is a perfect combination of new and freshly remodeled, while also offering real charm and historical tradition. We booked a suite, which was fantastic as it allowed out 18-year-old son (who just started his Freshman year at the University of Richmond) to sleep in the pull-out sofa bed on two nights. This allowed my wife and me to spend some great "late night" time catching up with him before we turned in. Anton at the bar was excellent, offering great conversation alongside awesome drinks."

"I was unfamiliar with the area, and the staff readily helped me and my son find a wonderful restaurant to dine at for dinner and then the next day a delicious restaurant for breakfast. They also helped me figure out how to use uber to get to the concert we had tickets for and helped us with ancillary food needs. And the late-night attendant helped me figure out my room's TV remote that was unfamiliar to me. Our rooms were off a quaint plant surrounded staircase. I will most definitely stay there again."

"Hello they have clean rooms, the staff was helpful if asked ample parking, need to update date the entry to rooms, the breakfast is sufficient for the hotel. Also bigger televisions would help as well."
