"Our Island House stay could have not been better. Although an older hotel it is updated and very well taken care of. Room was amazing, staff friendly. Customer service was top notch. Will definitely stay at the Island House on my next visit to Mackinac Island. Location was perfect."

"What a wonderful place to stay! The cabins are well maintained and comfortable. The location is convenient. We were able to walk to Shepler's Ferry for our ride to Mackinac Island as well as to many restaurants and stores in town. We enjoyed our stay!"

"We stayed here for a night waiting for our friends to arrive the following day for a trip to Mackinac. Since we were only staying one night, we werenโt looking for anything fancy, our priority was something economical. This motel fit the bill. Check-in was easy and the staff recommended places to eat dinner. The room was very clean. Although the hotel itself is a tired-looking, the cleanliness seems to be their priority. That suited us! We didnโt use any amenities but a breakfast is provided and thereโs an indoor pool. Again, nothing fancy."
