"We've always preferred staying in Westminster when we visit London but had never stayed at the Royal Horse Guards before. We found it almost by chance on this trip and are very happy that we did; it will be our first choice on future trips to London. The hotel is ideally situated just a short walk from Trafalgar Square and right along the Thames and yet is on a quiet side street away from the noise and crowds. The building is over one hundred years old and just exudes character and uniqueness while at the same time being impeccably maintained and very comfortable. The rooms are very comfortable and also have a lot of character. The restaurants on site are reasonably priced (for London) with excellent staff and service. The entire staff was very good, friendly and professional and always there to help with anything we needed. In Westminster you can't do better for location and service than this hotel. We can't wait to go back."
