"We opted for a standard room with a view of Tower Bridge. I loved that view and took so many photos at different times of the day. You can see the Shard too. Next time I would opt for a renovated room with view. Our room was showing its age, not in a run down way but I think it was original to the 1970’s. I would prefer a refreshed room. We had lunch on the terrace of the Vicinity restaurant, the weather was perfect, the service was good, and of course the view. We also had dinner there, again the view. The menu was not innovative. We had the steak and ale pie, which was good, but the night before we had eaten in a restaurant with a very creative menu."

"This is a great hotel located conveniently close to Victoria Station. The breakfast buffet had everything you could think of. It was a great way to start our days. The entire hotel was very clean, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating."
