Terra Nostra Garden Hotel

"We had a great stay at Terra Nostra Garden Hotel in Furnas!!! Highly recommend. Our room was clean and comfortable with wonderful amenities you don’t find at most hotels (towel warmers etc). The hotel itself is clean and updated, the grounds are beautifully maintained and the hot spring soaking pool and Jacuzzis are such a great amenity. Both restaurants on site are fantastic. Our dinner was delicious and honestly an experience, and the staff is so knowledgeable. They helped us pick up the perfect local wine to pair with our meal. It was a wonderful experience. Lunch and drinks out on the terrace in the afternoon was wonderful and they have such a great cocktail list. This hotel has an insane amount of amenities, but parking was up there for us. It was so nice to just walk out into a parking lot and get into ourcar and drive off and not have to deal with trying to park on the narrow streets that you find on the islands. When we return to the island, we will be staying here again and again. During our weeklong stay we hopped around to a few places, we stayed at 3 hotels overall, this was our number one pick. We loved the area and the town is beautiful!!!"

"L’hôtel est incroyable. Toute les chambres ont vue sur la ville et l’océan. Le spa était tellement agréable. Piscine et bains à remous chauffés. Spa sec et spa humide, douche froide et piscine extérieur. Tout y était pour la détente. Le restaurant était très bien. Nous avons bien mangé et surtout le service était impeccable. Le buffet déjeuner inclus était très bien aussi. Assez de choix variés, céréales, bol yogourt a garnir, fruits frais, viande froide, fromages, œuf et omelette, bacon, viennoiseries etc. Le Jus d’orange frais était aussi délicieux. Nous avons adoré notre séjour! Notre coup de cœur de notre voyage! Il faut être au courant que dans la ville de Nordeste il y a très peu de restaurant et une petite epicerie. Il faut être préparé ou être prêt à se déplacer beaucoup plus loin si on ne veut pas manger à l’hôtel."

"This place was amazing, definitely our favorite stay while we were on the island. The room was huge and perfect for my group of 3 girls. It is super cute too. Self check in process is always nice too. Took us a second to find the door we needed to enter but everything was super easy after that. The garden was beautiful and I wish we had more time to spend there. The breakfast was great too! They provided a selection of cheese, bread, yogurt, fruit, and meat. The staff was super nice and didn’t seem to mind that we didn’t speak Portuguese. The location was fine, about a 20 min drive from Furnas. Easy enough to get around to the different sights on the east side of the island. Would highly recommend!"

"A delightful guesthouse in a great location. The rooms were well-designed, and the bed was very comfortable. Tons of light with the big windows - but also a great set of blackout curtains for the evenings. Less than half an hour to the airport, 20 minutes from much of Ponta Delgada, but also felt like you were very much out of the bustle. The staff could not have been more lovely, helpful, and hospitable, with great food for breakfast. Several ways to get in a morning run (or long walk), either along paved roads or on small country trails if you're willing to go 'up' at a nice brisk pace. Overall, could not have been more pleased with our choice to stay here."
