"The barman Gaba was on his own on Sunday night. He took the meal and drinks orders, he delivered the drinks and the meals. If anyone was at reception he would deal with them. All this was done with a smile. He also made sure all the guests were spoken to and he had a lovely,lively laugh. He and the rest of the staff made our stay superb. We will go there again. "

"I booked a compact room usually these are very small but comfy. This was downstairs with only 1 other room close by. Spacious quiet and comfortable. Also cool which was nice as its unusually warm in Buxton. The piano playing in the lobby is a lovely touch "

"Book in easily friendly staff on reception also polite staff friendly throughout the stay. Good sized room and bathroom and the fridge was a bonus as tea and coffee facilities were topped up daily."
