Crowne Plaza Newark Airport by IHG
8/10 Good
"The front desk staff were wonderful and very friendly. The restaurant staff though, I asked them if they could accommodate me for eating by cutting up my food by cutting into small pieces being I have no front teeth and basically only I tooth to chew with, and they said no problem. After waiting about 1/2 hour they brought out my food my burger was cut into 1/4’s. I told the person that brought out my food I wouldn’t be able to bite into it so he took it away and brought it back now cut into 1/8’s which was still not what the first person said they would do for me. He then said well then there was nothing else he could do, so I left. I walked past the front desk and I asked where else I could eat and she asked what happened and I told here so she called the restaurant to talk to staff to see and she would help me and they said it would be 1 to 1 1/2 hours because they were down to 1 person working. I never did get any food."

"The staff was very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the hotel’s close proximity to the train station, which made traveling into and out of the city very convenient. My only disappointment was the cleanliness and condition of the bathroom, where rust was visible around the doors and in certain areas of the shower. However, the rest of the room was quite clean overall."

"My only complaint was the dining area the night we arrived. There was a wait of 45 minutes for our food order as there was only one cook in the kitchen and the restaurant was full. I felt sorry for the two young ladies trying to keep everyone happy."
