Fantastic aesthetic and great private bar area. The front desk staff was kind however the housekeeping was less so. The amenities were also lacking for what is considered a 5 star hotel in comparison to others. The bath in the room also had a lot of floating pieces coming out of the faucet which made me unsure if it was a great idea to use it.

I loved our stay at The Ned Nomad, it is a really lovely hotel and becoming a member for the duration of your visit, makes for some really lovely dining and drinking options. The rooms are stylish, really bright and a good size. The only thing that wasn’t good was the bathroom size - it was the mallets I have ever experienced, literally a shower in a cupboard! Still loved it, staff were great too. Will def return

Dark and Darker

The hotel is “British-club style” and was very dark purposely including my room and bathroom: too dark to know to check my eye shadow and eyeliner! Personally I didn’t care for the split bathroom: WC on one side of the room, shower on the other. Service was spotty: breakfast coffee delivered very late and only after several phone calls, a package a friend left took forever to the desk to find. But the desk people were helpful in the main and everyone was polite and the hotel and room were elegant (if ill-lit).

Hotel overall was good. Room is a bit odd with the bathtub out in the open. Two things stuck out to me that would make me not stay here again. Outside the hotel was an immediate weed smell at all times. A group of people stood at the corner across from the hotel smoking blunts from early morning to late at night. It was a constant smell every time we left and came back to the property. I understand this is not something they can control, but it was not pleasant nonetheless. Second, I went to the continental breakfast to grab a cup of juice every morning to take my medications with. On the last day we checked out around noon and I was a little later than usual, and I went to do the same but I staff woman was there to stop me. I explained I just wanted to get some juice to take my pills and she said they were serving brunch now. Again I said I just want a cup of juice, and instead she offered to go get me water instead. I reiterated one last time I really needed juice to take my pills because I have so many. She just said oh ok and left it at that. I never got juice. For the price we paid to stay here, and the supposed 5 star rating, I would have very much appreciated if I could have just been able to go in and get a cup of juice from the bar. I felt like this barrier the woman created was really uncalled for and rude. Especially since it was because I needed to take medication. That experience alone is enough to turn me away for a next time.

Everything in this hotel from the servers, their attentiveness. The size of the fonts on the menu the lighting from the windows is gorgeous and then the private nook areas. Unbelievable the slippers by the bed the fruit bowl in the room the detail of this hotel is amazing small rotary phone. Live music the streaming music. just a gorgeous ambiance within the entire property and even down to the voices of the staff that they hire as everything is creates a very beautiful experience.
On the roof. Inside is amazing but will save that for you to experience.
