This hotel is what it is - a compact room. The bed is a foam mattress on a six inch riser, so getting out of bed can be challenging.
That said, the staff was great, the location worked for what I needed, and the pizza place across the street is incredible.

Location, location, location! small boutique hotel but charming! Great hospitality all around, clean. A skip away from everything Chelsea, the market, the piers, Small Island, Whitney Myseum, next to Highline and cople blocks from Hudson Yard
I had a nice stay at Hotel Alameda. Good value for money, clean and comfortable, in a convenient location. Very friendly and helpful staff.
A few little things made it a 4 star, not a 5 star: soundproofing between rooms is poor; there were instructions for a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee maker; no cups for water in the room; I put out the “do not disturb” sign but they still made up my room; and the restaurant served me a breakfast sandwich on a bagel that had been microwaved until it was rock hard. (The filling and greens were fresh and tasty). All in all, not one of these warranted a complaint, but all together they made a difference.

Great location. Nice staff. Room was pretty cold despite asking for help with the thermostat.

Always pretty easy checking in to this hotel. Clean enough, a little tired around the edges, but comfortable.

Great location clean modern rooms are a great value. Nice bar downstairs with free drink vouchers.
The only thing keeping this from five stars is the pigeon poop that covers the windows. Was the case when I stayed here last summer and the case just now Feb of 2026. The structures outside the windows attract pigeons and their poop is cover g every window AND IS GROSS! Management should arrange for window washers at least weekly. GROSS!

The staff was great. The bed was comfortable, but too low for me to comfortably get up and on. Room safe would be nice for security reasons. Location was close to Highline so I liked it to get up and down the area easily.
Such a cute place with an amazing view from the room. The rooftop bar and social scene was great with again amazing views of the city. I'll definitely stay again.
Ozge was so kind!!!! During check in, she explained everything so well. She let us choose between lower or higher level floor!! Thank you for everything!! The hotel was always clean, I enjoyed the complimentary coffee/water/sparkling water! We were always greeted by the receptionist. Had a fire alarm go off Saturday night, but we were assured it was just a false alarm. Location is great.

I had a superb stay at Hotel Alameda in Chelsea, NY. The hotel was stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located, but what really stood out was the service. Martin was absolutely fabulous—attentive, warm, and went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional. Highly recommend!
The room looked nothing like the pictures, & was was neglected due to the fact of the lack of dusting on shelves. Took hours for the room to heat up. The staff was cool.
This was not the pleasurable experience I was looking for & will never come back here.
