Royalton has been my preferred hotel for … 8 years now. I love the staff and the ambiance of the lobby. I wish the bar were back in action. The hotel could use a little renovation - to freshen it up, not to change the overall feel.

Hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. While the lobby area is cozy, this once lovely hotel is now very bare bones - no amenities in the room, cheap thin towels, no restaurant or bar any more and not even a coffee shop or coffee in the room. Electrical outlets are in odd locations. The shower was fine, good water pressure for a high rise hotel in NY. The tub had multiple cracks and would not have been a functional tub.

Very peculiar hotel. Entrance looks like under construction. The lobby which I thought was attractive is a tomb. They closed their bar and restaurant so no one sits in the lobby. Room is large with an enormous round tub Very dark room. Door ways are narrow. Doubt you could get a wheelchair through. Staff seems unhappy. Just weird place
