The staff were excellent; however, the service for cleaning was poor. We were out all day only to return to an uncleaned room. Maid came after 6:00 p.m. on both nights to ask if we wanted the room cleaned. I found that unacceptable. I live on an Island and maid service is finished just after 3:00 p.m.

Compared to other hotels in the area, the room was much bigger. The room was also very clean. The only "complaint" is that there was not enough staff at check-in and we had to wait a while before being able to get to our room.

You could hear all background noises from surrounding area, better window and wall soundproofing could make my experience much much better, esp. when there was couples next door fighting at 3-4am ! I was waked up and scared, called front desk twice, and not able to back in sleep for 3 hours.

The hotel room was very small. The staff were …. Well let’s say it wasn’t 5 star service. BUT the location was extremely central. A few minutes walk west to Times Square. A few minutes walk north to The Rockefeller Center. Grand Central Station 10 minutes east. And a couple of minutes walk to the subway to / from south Manhattan where you can get to Wall St, 9/11 memorial, Battery park etc. I’d use this hotel again for the convenience of the location.

The lobby was a mess with new mattresses all throughout the lobby. The elevator was supposed to be down from 1-3pm. I checked in after 4 and it was still down. So only one elevator was working. Then my room door is not responding to the key so someone has to manually open my room door for every time i go in and out. Not at all the experience i wanted at this property
