The only disappointing factor was that the website did not advertise that the bar on site was closed due to remodeling. It would’ve been nice to know that, especially since we were visiting during a cooler time of year and had to walk in order to find a place to have an evening cocktail. Since that bar was closed, maybe they could’ve comped the price of beers in the hotel room bar, instead of charging eight dollars for a beer out of the fridge. Otherwise, it was a very convenient location to a lot of touristy areas, very close to subway station, and not at all in a dangerous part of the city. The room rates were also very decent. Everything was clean, and staff were able to tend to any of our needs. I would definitely stay here again.
I stayed five nights on the 32nd street side of the building. In the middle of every single night and throughout, there was a tremendous amount of street noise. Garbage trucks and construction. Way more than I’ve ever experienced in NYC. The windows are poorly insulated and don’t block out much sound. If you stay, ask for an interior room.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of how small the rooms are! I had a queen standard and only travel with a carry on backpack. I had absolutely no where to put anything! If two people shared this room and you both had suitcases, I literally have no idea where you would put all your stuff. There is only enough room to barely walk around the bed, but you have to close the bathroom door and then shimmy between the “closet” and the bed. Other than that, absolutely great location, easy to get to and from JFK, and the staff were super friendly.
The room is big for NYC king bed and the pillows are amazing. My room was very clean! The staff was amazing. They were very helpful, and non judgemental when it came to my touritsy questions. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel refused to cancel my reservation during the blizzard. They told me they would cancel it when I called 3 days before I was supposed to arrive, then reneged. The conduct speaks for itself. I will never stay at this hotel.
Room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful, food was delicious in the cafe and not even a block from the subway!

Disliked: Amenities
The room was freezing. Literally freezing. I asked to move and was told I couldn’t despite there being available rooms in all websites including their own. Also they are massively misrepresenting their hotel. They show photos of the bars and a restaurant. None of these exist. It’s appalling. I had to move to a different hotel. I called the GM who didn’t work at weekends and they never called back
I've stayed here a few times before and the staff is always friendly, the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The only minor complaint this time was that the room was very cold. Spoke to front desk about it and all good. There’s lots of eatery options in the area and it's a great location.
Great hotel! Nice staff, rooms aren’t too small!
Will stay again!
