Beautiful, spacious rooms with cozy bedding and full kitchens. Location is centric to times square, rockefeller and grand central. Front desk staff was accesible and friendly, no one stands out any more than the rest; they were all excellent!

Excellent stay for a large family at a reasonable price. Our room was equipped with everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent. It had a great variety of choices even though the same thing is offered every day. Excellent location. Just a couple of blocks from Rockafeller and St. Patrick's Cathedral. My only concern was with a broken window in our room that allowed a cold draft and a lot of external noise from the street.

The hotel had a quaint, family feel. The front desk staff were very sweet, and the staff at the breakfast room were quick to help any of the kids there. I was hesitant about the location, but it turned out to be the best option. We were close enough to the action, but far enough away as well to have a quiet sanctuary from the busyness of the city. We started off with a bit of a rough start, but the team at the Bayard went above and beyond to work with my family to ensure the best stay possible. I would definitely stay there again.

Great spot for families!

Stayed four nights with my family of 5 (that included two adults, one young adult, and two teenagers) and the two bedroom sweet was perfect! The area felt safe and it was well located near several subway lines (including the subway line from LaGuardia). The staff were also very nice and the hotel was clean and nicely maintained. The spacious two bedroom suite gave everyone space to relax, get ready for the day, and sleep comfortably. I would definitely stay again.

Great place at a great location

I’ve lived in apts smaller than our two bedroom unit. Huge by NYC standards has a dining room table for six a full kitchen we just loved it very convenient to Grand Central terminal, Central Park, etc.

The property is old, but it is clean and SPACIOUS! We booked one of the penthouses on the top, and it had a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a dining area, a living room, and a private terrace. 10 minutes walk to Times Square.

Every staff member we encountered was outstanding! Very friendly and helpful. The accommodations were comparable to a 2 bedroom apartment, and were comfortable and clean. The location was ideal for exploring and walkable (within a mile or two) to Fifth Avenue, Central Park, Times Square etc. We plan to book this property the next time we return to NYC.

The best

Hotel staff are DYNAMIC! I have never had people do so much to make sure we had a good visit. The apartment was super clean and we totally appreciated the snacks. The breakfast was so much more than we expected. They even accommodated special dietary needs. We will never stay anywhere else going forward.
