It severs perfectly for what we were there for. I knew that I wouldn’t be in our room very much just needed a place to sleep and shower and was fairly decent, and so therefore it was perfect. I would stay again if used for this purpose again. Front desk was very helpful. And great location to plenty of things to do and food.

We bailed and didn’t stay

One of the worst hotels I’ve been to. We didn’t even stay. There was mold and stains on the carpet. We found cockroaches. The other rooms had stains on chairs. Overall very dirty and rundown.

I am a DJ, the elevators were broke, I was staying on the 4th floor. Each Night I had to haul equipment up and down 4 flights of stairs. I do this at least 4 times a year and have always stayed with this hotel but this experience was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I feel a total reimbursement is in order. My overall experience was ok! I like the little kitchenette and convenience of it. The rooms were a little small compared to pictures on-line. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room could have been a little more cleaner.

My room was so dusty. The floors were nasty and he has stains on the covers. I will never pick this hotel again. I made reservations for my son and his girlfriend because my son was visiting in New Orleans. We live in Baton Rouge and he was too tired to drive back home so I treated him to a room that was horrible never again

Basic room, no frills

Initially hard to find as sign is down, but check in was easy and friendly. Getting off elevator, instantly hit with musty, moldy smell. Room was better as there was no carpet in guest rooms. Room was basically clean, comfortable bed; needs updating badly. Rusty fridge, Paint cracking- but that didn't affect getting a good night's sleep. Little noisy as it's by the interstate, but not too bad. Overall a decent stay, just a little more expensive for what is provided.

The location was very close to food, dining, and entertainment. Located in a quiet area. The hotel was dirty. The lobby area, elevator, hallway to the room and the room was dirty. The floors don’t get mopped and rooms don’t get cleaned. I went to the nearest dollar tree and purchased bleach and fabuloso, and then clean the kitchen countertops, bathroom vanity, toilet, tub (dirt ring) and the leather chair. I also asked for a vacuum cleaner because the floor was dirty and had long stringy black hair on the bathroom floor and carpeted area. If the hotel and the room was clean I would have given this location five stars.

Room key would not work. Hallway dirty. Could not print my receipt. Charges for WiFi if you want to stream. Very low end. Use only if desperate. Could not park in handicapped spot even though there was car with no handicapped sticker or tag.

Not Impressed: Will Never Stay There again

I wasn't allowed to check-in early without paying an extra fee. I wasn't even allowed to use the bathroom 30 minutes before check-in. One night there was a roach crawling on the wall. Not having automatic doors in the front is dumb when people are carrying luggage. The heavey sping doors beat me up all week and bruised me twice.The breakfast wasn't much more than coffee and a muffin. There was no maid service for 4 days. The TV remote didn't work very well. The parking lot was trashy when I arrived and there was a grocery buggy in the parking lot all week.

Locked Out

We checked in and went to room. The door was already open. We were told that repair workers must have left it opened. We go to unloading and found a couple of the lamps not working. The following day we go back up to the room and our key don’t work. Asked worker to try his key and it still won’t open. Went back down and had two more keys made and both keys won’t open the door. We ask the cleaning lady to try her master key and it still won’t open. We go back down and the desk clerk says she will try her key and still won’t open. At this time it has been almost an hour trying to get into our room. They finally get us a new room but all our belongings are still in the original room. About thirty minutes later they finally get the door opened. We get our belongings moved to the new room. This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

They haven't updated this place in decades! The bathroom socket didn't work. The drawer didn't close. There was mold all over the windowsill. It rained and leaked in the room. The remote had no back. The AC blew hot or cold..had to keep switching to get the right temp. Oh and you have to take your own trash out or it's $25 a bag for them to do it! Just go to the one in Kenner.
