"We arrived late afternoon and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist, out room was clean, tidy & comfortable, the bathroom was of an adequate size although the shower/bath tap was lacking in pressure. Breakfast was good with choices of cereals, teas/coffees, yoghurt, bread for toast was fresh as were the croissants. The hot breakfast bap with egg, bacon & sausage was very good. During our stay the 5 members of staff (Lisa, Helen, Dianne, Gemma & Dorothy) we came into contact with couldn't have been any more friendly and helpful. You have to pay for car parking (£5.00 per 24 hrs). The only downside, if any, it is on the edge of a small retail park and apart from a Costa & Greggs there is nowhere within walking distance to eat."

"There was no heating on during my stay; the room was cold. The TV on the wall had no nearby socket to plug it into. The lamp on the table had no socket to plug it into. Two of the pictures on the wall were shocking. The curtains were back to front: the right side faced out, and the lining faced the room. Moreover, they were really thin with lots of human hair between the lining and the curtain. "

"The Margaret Suite (room 8) double room was really good. Four poster bed and a fridge in the room. It’s the first floor bay window at the front of the building so you can see the sea. Apart from arrival, I didn’t see staff again. The room was clean and the room was quiet. The Expedia booking confirmation from the hotel starts with “Unfortunately…” and goes on about what you can and can’t do and their right to change the price. It’s not very welcoming so I’d recommend changing that. "

"Enjoyed our stay great hotel near to restaurants, bars, and shops. Has a lovely bar area and breakfast area with lots of choice to eat and drink "

"Lovely hotel, rooms spacious and clean with the usual toiletries, tea, coffee etc. Great breskfast. We had a room with a balcony, overlooking the sea, what a fab view even in March! There is a club next door but that wasn't a problem as we did not have the door open and it shuts at midnight. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room away from that side. Would definitely book again!"

"First time staying on business, asked for a fifty pound deposit in case I cause damage to the room ? I travel throughout the UK never been asked before for a deposit for the room. Went to the downstairs pub for a drink and some food, told the barman I was a resident and could I open a tab, barman refused saying I might run off without paying? Food awful left the meal and will not be returning."

"The room was spotless but had a problem with thd drain in the bath tub took hours to empty.And breakfast is not included. A chatge off £14 on top off the £162 id already paid i did ferl that this should be included in all bookings as a guest."
