Staff were absolutely amazing. Great customer care and very friendly. Room was amazing with a great view of the beach. Will stay at this location again. Thanks for making my stay an enjoyable experience.
Not the best spot. Location wasn’t great and it was pretty dirty. Staff was great and the room was quiet but I don’t expect this Ramada to last very long.

Great value for the price. It ’s not a luxury resort, but you get exactly what you pay for in a good way. The room was clean and it had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Would recommend for travelers on a budget.
Our stay was so relaxing espie is great at making sure your needs are met. Shedrick is very informative and friendly he gave me a great place to eat and have drinks at and I’m very happy all around with our experience and will definitely be looking forward to doing more business
The Ramada by Wyndham San Diego National City is conveniently located near shopping malls, a variety of restaurants, and the airport, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers.
The staff is welcoming, helpful, and friendly. A special thank you to Gheio and Saddy on the PM shift for their outstanding customer service, warm hospitality, and willingness to assist. Their professionalism and positive attitude made my stay even more enjoyable.

Firstly Dora on reception was amazing - so helpful and cheerful.
The hotel location for use of the Trolley to the Tijuana and downtown is great - very quiet neighbourhood and a short walk to Walmart.
The pool was closed during our whole stay which would have been useful in the heatwave, there was also a huge leak which affected multiple rooms and when we discovered our room had been impact we were moved 2 floors up very quickly.
Parking is plentiful.
If they could have fixed the pool and somehow figured out the smell in the gym which smelt like fuel it would have been near perfect for two brothers visiting SD for the first time.
It was an ok hotel with a really nice view of the bay. The first room they put us in had no working bedside lamps and a leash in the ceiling over the sink. The guy at the front desk was really nice and apologized and quickly moved us to another room. They also advertise on the website that they serve breakfast but when we asked about it, we were told that their restaurant hasn’t been open for awhile now.
Staff at the front were very helpful, however our room did not get cleaned once. We didn’t get new towels the entire week and besides when we went downstairs to get some. When we arrived the room didn’t seem to be super well cleaned either.
We had to ask twice for towels, only one person was working the desk during comic con week, the guy who checked us in knocked on our door to confirm if the room was occupied, we had to ask for a microwave, the cafe wasn’t open, the room was small and looked rundown. We are coming back to San Diego next year but will definitely avoid this property. Seddy was left by himself a lot and I have never seen the manager. One woman at the desk was very nice and the guy cleaning the walkway, Daniel was also very nice. It’s not enough to get me to go back unfortunately.
The staff was amazing, great people very professional and helpful, super nice from the manager to the reception staff to the housekeeping and maintenance, they are amazing but the installations is disgusting, dirty, dingy, outdated, rundown, nothing works! I felt uncomfortable, they were understaffed, I felt bad for them, but would not recommend any to stay there for health reasons! I want my money back

good if you’re someone who doesn’t plan on staying in your hotel. convenient location, paid parking lot, cold ac if you like that, knowledgeable friendly and helpful staff, the lights at night are aesthetically pleasing as well. now the bad, heater did not work, there was a roach in my room on my last day so i’m sure it was around just hidden. be careful of the entrances at night if you are a solo female traveler.
The staff members were friendly, and parking was convenient. However, the room itself was rather disappointing. Housekeeping services were not provided, which meant we did not receive additional toilet paper or fresh towels. The air conditioning unit operated intermittently and produced a loud noise each time it activated, often disturbing our sleep. The floors appeared and felt unclean, making it uncomfortable to walk barefoot. Furthermore, an iron and ironing board were not available. The pool was also closed during our stay. Given these issues, the cost did not seem justified, even considering it was during the Fourth of July weekend.
We booked 3 rooms
We each had a horrible stay the only thing we enjoyed was the view from our room
When arriving the staff said we could check in early unless we paid $55.00 each
But when it was time to check in our rooms they weren’t ready until 3:40
the lobby restrooms were filthy I had to complain
Our room didn’t have a working iron or a hairdryer one of the beds didn’t have a blanket
the air conditioner was supper loud
I asked for extra towels which they weren’t going to give us any
The other room didn’t have blankets on both beds and the air conditioner was leaking
And the third room was also missing a blanket
I was the only one who complained and went and got the teams we needed at the front desk
The rest of my family just did without
We had a Horrible Horrible stay
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. We checked in around 7:00 p.m., and the lobby was extremely busy. What stood out the most was that there was only one employee working the entire front desk. His name is Seddi, and he was helping a constant line of guests, answering questions, handling check-ins, and doing everything he could by himself. Even under all that pressure, he remained friendly, patient, and professional. He deserves recognition because he truly did an amazing job with the situation he was put in.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself was a different story. After checking into our room and getting ready to shower, I realized there were no towels. I had to get dressed again and go back downstairs to ask for some. Seddi immediately apologized and got towels for us, but while I was waiting, another guest came down with the exact same issue. Clearly, this wasn’t an isolated mistake—it was a housekeeping problem.
The lobby also had a musty smell, and the overall property just felt poorly maintained and uninviting. My frustration is not with Seddi. He was outstanding. My frustration is with management for leaving one employee to handle such a busy evening shift alone and for allowing housekeeping to send guests into rooms that weren’t properly prepared. A huge shout-out to Seddi for staying calm, professional, and providing excellent customer service despite being set up to fail. He deserves a lot of credit.

The room is clean, staffs are good. However, the hair bower was not working and replacement was not available.
First off. Shame on Expedia. They certainly don’t want this review posted this is my fourth attempt to post this review This dive motel does not have any sort of breakfast let alone free with stay. I have never taken the time to leave a review but this place was shady at best with homeless hanging out in the lobby area with flea ridden dog. The rooms were filthy. Floors have not been mopped in a long time. We had to keep our shoes on or our feet turned black from the floors. They tried slipping a parking fee which the kind staff waived (staff was nice truly) because the pool was closed. They said hot tub was available but it looked like someone had the runs and didn’t make it out in time. I took a broom which no one noticed likely because they don’t use them and swept our own rooms. Asked for a mop. The poor cleaning gal seemed confused and said they don’t have any and they are expected to use a hand towel that does not attach to the mop head to attempt to clean the floors. I did use this and mopped our own rooms and the towel was black both sides from mopping 2 rooms. Bath tubs were filthy and have not been scoured in years. No hair dryers in room but that’s the least of my concerns. Working door deadbolts were more in need. Oh also not the deal breaker but the two queen beds are smaller than full size beds. The sheets were clean(thankfully) until our dirty feet hit them. The staff are super nice but overworked. If you book here to save $ you are warned.
Espie was a great help the check in process was so smooth and worry free. When called down for extra towels and soaps for ourselves Shredrick was more than happy to make sure our needs were met! This is a great place to stay and there’s so many option’s for good food near then thanks again guys great job we’ll definitely be back
