"The single room was small but sufficient and comfortable. Everything was clean. The only thing that was surprising was an unusually small toilet that was usable, just quite small.
Staff were great, breakfast fantastic and the location excellent for transportation, food and general shopping, but not particularly touristy. However, the nearby Naritasan Park is beautiful with Shinto shrines, temples, gateways and pagodas. The walking paths are beautiful and it is close enough that I walked there from the hotel. If you want to see classical Japanese views and architecture, it is as good as anywhere I’ve seen in Japan and well worth several hours."
