"This is one of the best hotels we have ever visited. The communication from the staff was so swift and efficient with Mr Adnan Asaz responding to my emails a few weeks prior to our visit with astonishing alacrity. A pick-up from the airport was waiting for us on arrival in Kolkata and on reaching the hotel many of the staff were there to great us including general manager Natasha. What a friendly hotel!"

"This was not our first trip to the Novotel. As a family of 5 we are looking for amenities, convenience, cleanliness, and value. And I must say that Novotel is 5 stars in all o these categories. I especially appreciate the friendliness of the staff. There is not a hotel in the world in this price range, in my humble experience, that can compare with Novotel Kolkata. We will definitely stay again. "

"OVERALL: Once you pass through the very understated entrance gate, and go through check-in, you'll find yourself in a spacious, beautiful palace. Calm, serene, beautifully restored, with a spectacularly beautiful bar and an amazing courtyard with fountain works. The area makes for a beautiful night walk. The former queen's pool is fit for...well, a queen. F&B: you're greeted with nice chocolates with some local flavours. The restaurant was the only let-down; the cheap 90-s Thai optic furnishings doesn't really fit the environment, and the food was nice, but not great; the service was. ROOM: very spacious, with a beautiful all marble new bathroom. Good amenities - but no conditioner! They need that."

"The staff here are super helpful and the hotel is in a great location for sightseeing (walkable to the Victoria Memorial and Mother Theresa House, short taxi to the train station ). Lovely outside restaurant and bar. Decir a bit dated but you can’t fault the staff or the location."
