Spent 4 nights at the ITC Royal Bengal with two young kids. We were thoroughly impressed by the property, the food but more so the service. During breakfast, the executive chef Mr Ranvijay personally came up and enquired how we were doing. When he saw we have a baby with us, he gave us his personal number so that we can ask for anything for the baby. Which we did and they were always delivered to us right on time. We can't thank him enough for his help. I am going to stay at this place every time I am in Kolkata.

It does feel Royal, will be back

Beautiful architecture, looks and feels grand. The staff were always courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing with many options to pick from, the masala dosa was one of the best I ever had in my life.

This is supposed to be the flagship property/hotel in Kolkata. The hotel itself is excellent, rooms and facilities are clean, rooms are very well maintained, view from room was fantastic. However, we had breakfast and afternoon tea included in our package. The breakfast area was very disappointing, extremely crowded and very poorly managed. Looks like a roadside dhaba and that too with extremely slow service. We have to wait for almost and hour to get in and then had terrible experience getting some hot food. Ordered some omelette/dosa which took for ever, and have to remind them multiple times. hotel should improve their breakfast area/facility. Similar experience at the afternoon tea area. Over congested and have to wait for all the appetizer for ever.

This property is very comfortable and luxurious. Buffet is grand and good coverage of food variety. Tastewise not evrything is excellent but quality wice pretty good. Pool is very maintained. Negative >Skylounge bar is a big bammer. The signature cocktails are not at all good same for classic cocktails. And there is not enough view from roof top. No open place Another problem is there is nothing for small kids like soft play area or anything though kids pool are there.. Oveall stay is very good for two reason . 1. Excellent room with beautiful view from higher floors of tower room . 2. Very much cordial and professional behavior of each and every employee . I will recommend for friends and family.

We also indulged in the refined flavors of Dum Pukht and Peshawri, and enjoyed the relaxed ambiance of the Tea Lounge.
