"The house was impeccably clean and organized. The host had already thought of every possible question and had answers written down in English in various guides and instructions. "The room was very comfortable, and had adequate space, though one bed was pushed against the wall. Lots of helpful amenities. There were various refreshments in the lounge through out the day, which was nice. The onsen is small, but fully equipped. My only complaint was that there was a very bright light on a motion sensor in the entryway, and there was no way to turn it off. If you got up in the night to use the sink or toilet it came on blinding you (and anyone else) in the room. We found a creative solution, but there should be a way to turn the motion sensor off. "

"The hotel was great, only minor complaint was the room was very warm and the air conditioning was centrally controlled (i.e. not available to cool until summer months). We could fortunately open the window slightly to help cool it down. Otherwise, the area has lots of nearby hotels/tourists and not enough restaurants to service them all. Plan accordingly or end up waiting for food or having to have limited Konbini dinner several nights like we had to. "
