There’s one good reason to stay at Tokyu Stay: The washer-dryer combo in every room. Everything else about a good hotel is also there: Clean room, professional and courteous staff, a solid breakfast buffet and being on a main thoroughfare in Kanazawa.

An impressively convenient location that is mere steps away from Oyama Shrine and through to Kanazawa castle and the beautiful Kenroku-en gardens. The staff were also incredibly polite and helpful and the rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Location was good, had stayed at the Matsui gardens hotel over the road previous holiday and it was a nicer space for the same money. The staff at this hotel were lovely as usual from a Japanese hotel but the breakfast options and quality and room atmosphere let the place down.
