"First of all the location of the property is good, close to the beach but when we reserve the apartment we paid for a 1 bedroom 2 baths and balcony, they put us in a horrible 1 bedroom with no balcony really old kitchen and a bizarre dark energy, after couple of hours when I checked the receipt to be sure what had we paid for the management switch us to the right apartment we had reserve, so the experience was okay but I don’t think we will go back there."

"Hotel itself is basic but fine. Staff are friendly but hotel is poorly run. We paid for a room with a city view and balcony. Got a room without either because the room we paid for was not available until the last day of our 4 day stay! Have requested refund of cost difference between the two rooms, but haven"t received anything yet. Breakfast was pretty bad and service was slow (nearly 30 min to get a cup of coffee the first day!). Good location if you want to go to Rodadero Beach. The hotel is not in the Santa Marta historic district, as described in the listing. It is a 15 min cab ride from location described in listing. Although I told the staff and hotels.com about the error, it had not been corrected last I checked. "
