My stay at Garden Suites was wonderful! The building is beautiful and located just one block from the beach, which was lovely and very enjoyable. You can easily walk to the restaurants, bars, and nightlife in El Rodadero if that’s what you’re looking for, while the street where the building is located is still quiet and peaceful. It’s a great balance between being close to everything and having a relaxing place to stay.

Very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly, once we were able to contact him. There is no lobby, no help. Very different check in. I chose this hotel for friends because it was across the street from me.

The property is a home away from home. Beautifully kept. Marie is excellent at housekeeping. The only negative is there are no lifts, so you have to carry your bags.

This place is a gem! Absolutely worth it. Beach just a short walk away in a quiet neighborhood supermarket on the side, short distance to Rodadero beach too. There’s a local breakfast place on the corner they sell very good arepas and fresh juices, also tours. The owner Havi and the guide Ivan, good prices and service. We also ate at Beer Gardens it was nice. Definitely will recommend this spot to everyone traveling to Santa Marta

I had the deluxe room which includes a door between a bedroom And a full living room. The living room can fit 2 people. And they would have a separate door to the bathroom. It is more like a little apartment with gad stove, kitchen, microwave refrigerator. The bathroom is very luxurious with a very strong shower. And no absence of hot water. There is air conditioning in both the bedroom and the living room that work reliably. There is a 4 seater round table to eat. It is literally over a supermarket. The location is on an accessible street with constant police security. There are always taxis on that street. There is a beautiful private type beach 3 min walk away. There is a balcony space between your door and the street. So, it's extremely quiet. If checking in late afternoon, you need to communicate with a reliable person by whatsup. Very responsive. Card and key lock entry facilitates access. Within a ten min walk you can access downtown Rodadero. I prefer this quiet Oasis. The price cannot be beat.

The suites were great! The property is spacious, clean, and well kept. We had a private key to enter the premise. There are two small stores underneath the suites. About a 15 minute walk to the touristy area of rodadero where all the restaurants and small shops are. Very safe walk even at night! The beach is just a block away. They have a partnership with a restaurant nearby and also deliver breakfast to your door every morning.

Great location. Comfortable. Needs a bit more character. Maybe some inexpensive wall art and plants. The ones there are in pretty bad shape. Mary and Viviana, our hostesses are very kind, sweet, caring. Guided us and provided useful tips . Mary did recommend we go to a local eatery: Beer Garden where we were totally ignored to the point we walked out. Not her fault though. The ladies are constantly sweeping and cleaning, and always welcome guests in a polite manner and a smile. We witnessed many guests come and go. Busy spot. They made us feel at home. Warm homey environment.

Staff is amazing. Got a room in third floor, thw noise was impossible for sleeping, couldn't sleep a bit. Third floor and no elevator but amazing staff to help. You must let them know in advance what you want for breakfast and time to get it to your room.
