Hotels near Museum of Norwich at the Bridewell

"Clean room, nice and quiet as requested. I booked an Executive double, which turned out to be a twin with two singles beds pushed together which I was not expecting, unfortunately this made the bed not all that comfortable as I kept waking in the night feeling slightly wedged in the gap that would form between the two mattress’s ! Therefore I had to try to make myself sleep on one side only, so effectively I had to sleep in a single bed in an executive double room, which I was not overly impressed about. Had I been made aware that this would be the case I would have booked a single room or standard double. Other than the bed issue, the Hotel itself is absolutely Beautiful and the staff very polite and helpful, I will definitely be back but won’t be paying for an executive room this time (lesson learned) "

"The George Hotel was excellent. It is conveniently situated a short distance from the centre of Norwich. The staff were always cheerful and efficient. We had a ground floor annexe room which was ideal for our dog. "

"Above an indian restaurant, so aroma of curry. Couldn't turn heating down. Only 1 towel for 2 people 2 nights. No guest parking. No reception area. But bed comfy, WiFi, and shared bathrooms were clean and a good price. "
