"All we required was a bed for the night.
Room 19 at the front.
We were very happy with the room and bathroom was spacious and clean. Saturday nights will be noisy as you are in the town centre and young people will enjoy themselves and shout ln the way home.
It is disconcerting that there is no staff and all locks are digital. Dont delete the text! I did try the contact numbers in the days before my visit a never received an answer.
Overall happy to return as close to the railway station and...

"Well all you need to know is we passed the police raiding with Tasers drawn in the corridor as we were leaving... Unclean, unwelcoming locked front door, very tired fittings, mouldy, musty smelling, broken tap, could go on.
Recommended if you want to be on Police camera action. "

"I've stayed in Premier Inns before, such as one in London in the Blackfriars area and the one at Heathrow. Both of them were good, clean hotels. But this one in Reading was a major disappointment. The room was dingy, there were stains on the carpet and the bathroom floor was sticky. floors. The towels smelled. The worse was when I turned on the water in the shower and discovered that the water wasn't draining and what's worse, particles of debris (that strangely looked like wood chips) came out of the drain and were floating around in the water that refused to go down the drain. I went down to tell the front desk clerk about it and he said he would come up momentarily to look at it, but he never did. I gave up on that and went without a shower. There was no way I was getting in that bathtub. On the ground floor, the floors in the eating area were stained and the floor around the coffee machine were sticky as well.
One final note: beware of the taxi company that has a contract with this hotel. I had an incompetent driver who couldn't figure out where my destination was. I also could not see a meter anywhere on his dashboard, which I believe is a licensing offence. "
"The best things about Premier Suites are the excellent location a block from the town center and the excellent accomodating staff. The elevator was out of service during our stay and the very kind desk attendant immediately offered to change our room from the top level to the 1st floor."
