Courtyard Long Island City/New York Manhattan View
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed here for 4 nights for a friend's wedding in nearby Brooklyn. This hotel is in a fantastic location at a good price. All the staff here are welcoming and friendly. They are always on hand to give any advice and answer any questions. As it is not located in Manhattan, the price of the hotel is lower than many other hotels of this standard in Manhattan. However, the hotel is just around the corner from Queen's Plaza Subway Station and the E subway line takes you straight into the centre of New York in under half an hour. We used the subway regularly for getting around Manhattan gor sightseeing and into Brooklyn for the wedding festivities. There is also a local supermarket right next to the hotel which is really useful. Overall, this has been a fantastic stay and if ever I return to New York, I would definitely be staying at this hotel again. "
"I use a wheelchair and have a van to transport it. So room accessability and a dedicated parking spot is very important to me. The hotel had both which was very good. The room, bathroom and shower was very accessable for me due to grab bars and a shower bench that we provided.
The rooftop restaurant with view of Manhatten is stunning and a prized feature of the hotel. Food and service was excellent during my stay.
The surrounding area is what I expected and was not a big feature of why I chose the hotel. The streets in the area are accessible for a wheelchair but not easy to use due to slopes and uneveness in the pavement. Proximity to Manhatten by car was far more important to me.
Overall my expererience was excellent. I plan to come again. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING RELATED TO PARKING AND ROOM ACCESSABILITY
