"From checkin to departure this family owned hotel was a pleasure to stay at. It has an amazing view of the Duoro valley and beautiful accommodations. They have a heated pool and asmall restaurant with amazing home cooked food! But best of all was the hospitality, Sergio is terrific. We highly recommend it!!!"

"Absolutely breathtaking property, very charming with its rustic character. The garden was out of dream highly recommend sitting out there and watching the sunset. Lots of super friendly cats that roam the outside of the property. The rooms were lovely bed was comfortable and the staff were wonderful. Will be thinking of this property until I return!"

" This was our second stay at Hotel de Moura. It is a throwback to a more elegant era. The floors, ceilings and walls exhibit craftmanship that would be difficult to reproduce today. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It has convenient parking and is an easy 6 minute walk from the historic center and castle. The only downside is the lack of an elevator. The receptionist offered to carry our bags to our room. We are seniors and carried our bags up as we were travelling light. We will definitely stay there again."

"Everything for this visit was better than advertised. It is in an old Convent, but they have redone everything and the rooms are very modern, but you can walk the whole building and see several hundred years of history. Anna is super helpful and makes sure everything is perfect. One of the most peaceful and inspiring places we have ever visited. "
