The people were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent! The grounds and view excellent! There was not much staff on the premises and we had just arrived from a Relais & Chateau which was pretty much the same price so in comparison this destination was lacking BUT if you are going to Monsaraz and want to relax after your day of visiting I would still highly recommend since nothing in the area is comparable and the place is very beautiful and enjoyable!

The Montimerso Skyscape was serene. Surrounded by nature and old medieval towns, it was the perfect mini honeymoon getaway. The staff were so nice and welcoming. We felt so at peace. The infinity pool was nice to relax by in the hot afternoons. They have the 2 cutest dogs on the property that come to greet you. At night you are filled with beauty night sky’s and the calm of nature.

Stunning property

The property here is stunning. The rooms are very spacious and had nice amenities. The staff were kind and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring the region, and oh what an incredible region it is! It’s clear the owners are investing time and funds in their property. It’s an incredibly special and unique place.

Peaceful Escape

A great place to unwind after hectic days of sightseeing with superb views and surrounded by nature. A walk down the lake followed by an excellent dinner in the restaurant was just the ticket. Whilst the commitment to zero waste was commendable the concept of ordering dinner a day in advance was a little inconvenient and might cause guests to miss the excellent food in the restaurant. They shouldn’t, it’s good! When we first arrived there had clearly been a period of wet weather and the room suffered a little with damp, a few hours with the air conditioning sorted that out for us. We enjoyed our stay and would return.
