"Properly is obviously older and needs to be refreshed. It’s not dirty, but it definitely needs to be updated. The room I was given has a smell of long ago smoking. It smells like the carpets or the drapes need to be replaced. The hotel’s neighborhood has seen better days. A hotel shuttle driver warned me against walking to a nearby restaurant, telling me that there is often a police presence in the area addressing ladies of the evening plying their wares, and that some female guests had been robbed on the street recently. I didn’t feel like I was ever in danger, but I’m a single guy who stands 6’3” and kind of oblivious. The front desk was super friendly and helpful. "
"The staff was very helpful. This place is convenient when you plan to visit for couple of days and want to stay near airport and don’t mind staying in little older places. There free shuttle to CLT and breakfast adds to value. Did I mention it’s very family friendly. considering the Charlotte area this place definitely adds value for the bucks that you pay.
