Montreux was gorgeous. Lake Geneva was lovely with views of the Alps all around. Highly recommend a day trip to Glacier 3000. Lovely train ride.

Trolleybus stops just outside hotel, and like all hotel guests in Montreux, had free public transport throughout he Montreux region. Hence visited attractions in Vevey and Lausanne, and went up funiculars and on train trips into the mountains.

We stayed in Montreaux for 4 days and used it as a base for day trips. We stayed around the lake mostly and didn't visit the higher parts of the city.

The Christmas Market was being removed, but looked worthy of visiting in the future.

"Fabulous hotel on the lake. Excellent location. Easy transport links to Montreux. Only grumble was a poorly fitted shower head which made showering a bit of a challenge. A small point in what was otherwise the perfect stay."
"Hotel de la Rouvenaz was second to none! We enjoyed every minute of our stay from check in to check out! The hotel staff was welcoming and engaging, sharing their recommendations on what to do while we were visiting, the room was absolutely stunning with plenty of space and an incredible view of the lake. Trust me when I say you will not regret a moment of your time with Hotel de la Rouvenaz! Additionally, their restaurant below the hotel is AMAZING- best meal we had! "
