"The property is extremely well located near the start of the old town and was walkable to everywhere. Our room was small but very lovely and when we stuck our heads out of the window, we had an amazing view of the old town! The only problem was parking - we couldnt find any bc of a festival - but thats not the hotels fauot! Just be a bit organsjed - and i recommend parking behind the bus terminal (Eu10 per day)."

"Property was a bit remote, accessible by a 1K dirt driveway, but definitely worth the trip, and really not far from town and Montepulciano. Beautiful views, rooms were spacious and clean, and owners Nunzia and her husband Luca were helpful and gracious. We were able to spend several hours with Luca walking us through the wine making process, from picking the grapes to tracking the fermenting in oak barrels. Be sure to taste the wine, it is excellent. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced authentic experience in a wonderful location, this is it."

The basic room itself is a bit underwhelming and very small. we had a great experience & watched the English patient during our stay. This was nice for one night. "Our stay at Vento d’Orcia was one of the highlights of our trip through Italy. The property is beautiful and full of authentic Tuscan character, surrounded by incredible views of the Val d’Orcia countryside. It is peaceful, quiet, and exactly the kind of place we hoped to experience while staying in Tuscany. Our room was exceptionally clean, fresh, and very well maintained. Everything felt updated while still preserving the character of the property. The entire property, inside and outside, was beautifully cared for. A special thank you to Anna, who made our stay even better. She was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, and Anna prepared a delicious omelet for us along with a wonderful dessert. Sitting there in the cool, fresh Tuscan morning and enjoying breakfast surrounded by this landscape was something we will remember. The location is also excellent for exploring Pienza and the surrounding Val d’Orcia countryside. We stayed at several very good hotels during our trip through Italy, but Vento d’Orcia was truly special. Beautiful setting, exceptional cleanliness, wonderful hospitality, and an atmosphere you simply cannot get from a regular hotel. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Anna, for making our time in Tuscany so memorable."
