"Very nice stay at hotel. I am on a full week motorcycle trip in Japan mountains and this was a great stop. After 8 hours in saddle the onsen was perfect. Food was excellent, breakfast really stood out. The dining area was really nice and with a view. Hotel is clean and although not very crowded, staff was attentive and helpful. I do not speak japanease but that was not an issue. Parking plentiful, wifi was good. Great stop in area of Japan Inhad not been too."
"A wonderful, unique, and meaningful stay for our family of four. This inn offers an authentic, traditional Japanese experience with superior care and fabulous food (you MUST add the dinner experiences!). We will remember it always."

"We took the Hida from Nagoya and as soon as you exit, it is a shoe 5-minute walk to your right. The check in was through a kiosk and staff was there to assist if needed. After checking in, the staff explained all of the features of the hotel including the barefoot policy, the onsen and the included nightly ramen service. Our room was spacious with a tea service container on the table. The amenities included a double and single bed, refrigerator, makeup area for my wife, a television (never used while we were there!), and a very nice bathroom. The onsen on the 13th floor had a waiting area with public men’s and women’s onsens along with three private onsens. Also on the 13th floor was a laundry room with two washers and two dryers. Washing was free and the dryer cost 100Y for 20 min. The hotel was very close (10 min walk) to the old town and the daily Miyagawa outdoor market. An amazing hotel that I’d recommend 100%!"
"Great location across the river to the old town, but close enough to the train station. Nice rooms with lots of nice features, great baths, especially the women's next door."
