"The position of the property is ideal. Unfortunately the property does not meet expectations, no housekeeping, basic breakfast and strange taste to the water in the room we were in. Although staff tried to rectify the water issue to no avail."

"We received a lovely warm welcome. Lovely hotel. Nice location close to the beach. Lovely comfortable rooms with small en suite bathroom. Big plus for me was the kettle with plenty of tea, coffee and milk in the room. Will definitely book again when coming to Devon."

"The location was great for us as we’d travelled for several hours to see the partial eclipse, planet alignment and milky way ‘show’ in August 2026 and this accommodation was just a few miles away from where we need.
There was a warm, friendly welcome and our room was ready for us when we arrived.
Our room was quite warm as it was in the middle of a heatwave, although the lovely lady who checked us in swopped our room to the coolest available.
There was coffee and tea in the room and both the bedroom and the bathroom were very clean, looking as if they had been recently decorated.
We ate in the bar in the evening and the food was lovely and well priced.
There was a fairly wide choice for breakfast, including ‘Full English’ and ‘Smashed Avocado with poached Eggs’. All yummy!
This pub is in a quiet village, with the clip
clip of horses from time to time. Very calming and peaceful.
It has a car park and so any vehicles are safely off the road.
We would recommend and would be happy to return."
"This overnight stay was perfect. Pub is delightful with such friendly helpful staff.
We ate there too... all very nice.
Our room was spacious ( No15) with good en suite."
"We really enjoyed our stay at the Beach hotel - we had 2 rooms, the Lee Bay(Deluxe) and North Hill (superior) for 3 nights. Both rooms were clean and comfortable, my parents were really impressed with North Hill given its size & amazing sea view, the separate bath tub in the room was classy.
Location is excellent, we went across the road to enjoy the West Somerset railway for a day, and walked the other way down The Avenue where there are plenty of shops & restaurants easily reachable.
A fresh-cooked full English was lovely to start the day(one of several options, there was also an onlette which my Dad enjoyed). There's a bar & cafe with plenty of seating inside & outside.
All the staff were really friendly and keen to make sure we had a good stay, which we did. Would definitely visit again!"
"Gorgeous property with excellent facilities. Staff were absolutely incredible - friendly, welcoming and highly competent. Could not recommend this place enough!"
"Paul and Sharon offer a warm welcome to their lovely B&B conveniently located close to the main sights and sounds of this rural part of Somerset. Located on the main road between the M5 and Minehead, the accommodation is incredibly quiet being tucked away to the rear of the property. Each room is essentially an annexe making it feel very private. Thoughtful touches include a comprehensive range of in room refreshments and the use of the garden with its own honesty bar. Breakfast is a definite highlight and is comprehensive and cooked to perfection. Superb B&B that I would highly recommend."
"Great place to stay, great people. Very helpful and friendly gave great advice about the area. The room was adequate and good value for money with breakfast included. I had scrambled egg on toast and it was amazing. Thanks for the stay and im sure I'll back again one day."
